Your privacy
We take your privacy very seriously. At Music Department Resources, we have
some fundamental principles. We don't ask you for personal information,
unless we truly need it in order to operate a great service for you. We do
not share your personal information, except to comply with the law. We do
not store personal information on servers unless it is required for the
ongoing operation of one of our services. Our Privacy Policy (see below)
incorporates these goals.

Privacy policy
It is a Music Department Resources policy to respect your privacy regarding
any information we may collect while operating our services. The amount and
type of information that Music Department Resources gathers depends on the
nature of the interaction. We have your email because you signed up to the
website with it, and we use it to manage your subscription and send you
important updates. All of the information that is collected on
musicdepartmentresources.com is handled in accordance with UK GDPR
legislation. Music Department Resources does not rent or sell potentially
personally-identifying and non-personally-identifying information to anyone.
If you are a registered user of Music Department Resources and have supplied
your email address, we may send you occasional emails to tell you about new
features, ask for feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on
with the site. We expect to keep this type of communication to a minimum.
Music Department Resources takes all measures reasonably necessary to
protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of
potentially personally-identifying and non-personally-identifying
information.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's
computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time
they return. Music Department Resources users who do not wish to have
cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse
cookies before using Music Department Resources. The drawback is that
certain features of Music Department Resources websites will not function
properly without the aid of cookies. That said, the only type of cookies we
use are the type that enable the website to operate to your advantage. We do
not use cookies that enable the tracking of users. We do not use cookies
associated with third party advertising or analytics. In essence - we simply
facilitate account and subscription logins to enable the service to work
effectively.
Use of personal information and the retention of personal information
We will not sell or lease your personal information to third parties. We
simply need it to provide the service you've signed up for. Your login
account remains active for as long as you use the service. Subscribing or
unsubscribing doesn't affect your login. We carry out routine housekeeping
to spring clean subscription records, essentially keeping activity logs for
no more than 30 days. If you'd like your account and associated data to be
completely deleted, just get in touch after you've unsubscribed and we'll
get it sorted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the following rights:
Access You can ask us for a copy of the personal information
we hold about you.
Correction You can ask us to correct any information you think
is inaccurate or incomplete.
Erasure You can ask us to delete your data. Unsubscribe first
(see our FAQs) and then just get in touch - we'll cleanse your login account
and delete everything (though Stripe keeps payment records for their legal requirements).
Restriction You can ask us to limit how we use your personal
information while a dispute is being resolved.
Objection You can object to us processing your personal information
in certain circumstances.
Portability You can ask us to transfer your personal information
to another organisation or directly to you.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to
the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
or on 0303 123 1113.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Music Department Resources may

Resources' sole discretion. We encourage users to check this page for
